Course Vacancies:
Our U3A operates a system whereby existing Members have a right to retain their places on Courses in subsequent years. This often means that popular Courses are difficult for new members to find places on them.
We recommend that in your first year, you join one or more Courses that currently have vacancies, and place yourself on the Waiting Lists of the Courses you would really like to follow. By doing this you will meet new people, see how our system works, and have a better chance of gaining your first choice(s) in the future. Staying on a waiting list can often quickly lead to a permanent place on that Course.
The Prospectus accesssed from this page is now available for Prospective Members to scrutinise for information on the types of Course we offer. Reducing the size of the print that presents itself when opening the Prospectus may help easy reading of the various pages.
Any page of the Prospectus can be printed by clicking on File/Print/Current Page/Print.
The telephone numbers of Course Leaders have been omitted from the Prospectus accessed from this page, but the applicable telephone numbers will be given to New Members when they have enrolled on Courses.
